Aloha Hawaii Orchids has been growing orchids for over 25 years in Pahoa, Hawai’i. With over 50,000 square feet of greenhouses, Aloha Hawai’i Orchids is one of the largest orchids growers on the Big Island of Hawai'i.

We specialize in Cattleya orchids, but also grow many other varieties, including Vandas, Miltoniopsis, Phalaenopsis, Dendrobium, Lady Slippers, Oncidiums, and many species from different genera. You can learn more about some of the varieties we carry at this time by scrolling down.

  • Vanda Care

    Vandas come in a hanging wire, you can do either leave it hanging or cut the wire and put it in a Pot and if you put it in a pot they are happiest when the roots are outside the pot as they have a good draining system, It comes with a little bag of slow-release fertilizer called Nutricote and it’s good for one year. Every time you water the plant or it gets rain on it releases nutrients. Try to place the plant somewhere in bright filtered light not too cold, and water at least twice a week once a day if you can, and water the roots too, Growing Vandas are very simple to grow.

  • Oncidium Care 'Dancing Lady'

    Growing Oncidiums are very easy it requires some light, but not direct sun.

    Place it somewhere that has Shed, allowing soil to become almost completely dry between thorough waterings.

    water once a day or 2/3 times a week.

    It's also important to give them darkness at night. Plants need a rest, too.

    Beginner Orchid is what Phalaenopsis known for, Great choice if its your first Orchid. You can place it Over your disk, inside or outside

    Only water once or twice a week.
